The LENOVO ThinkPad Universal USB‑C Dock (40AY) is a one‑cable docking solution for Windows‑based and USB‑C/Thunderbolt‑compatible notebooks. It provides an array of video, data and network ports, centralises power and peripheral connections and supports remote IT management features such as PXE boot, WOL and MAC address pass‑through (where supported by the host).

• Video: 2× DisplayPort 1.4 and 1× HDMI 2.0; supports multiple 4K displays (capability up to 4×4K; actual resolution and number of displays depend on host capabilities).
• USB: 3× USB‑A 3.1 Gen2 (10 Gbps, one always‑on charging), 2× USB‑A 2.0, 1× USB‑C (10 Gbps, 5V/3A).
• Networking & audio: Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45) and 3.5 mm combo audio jack.
• Power delivery: supplied 90W adapter (system charging typically 65W with the 90W adapter); supports up to 100W laptop charging with an optional 135W Slim Tip adapter.
