The AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D is an AM5 desktop processor designed for high-performance gaming and enthusiast desktops. Built on Zen 4 with AMD 3D V-Cache technology, it pairs eight CPU cores and 16 threads with a large L3 cache to reduce game latency and improve frame rates. The boxed retail SKU (100-100000910WOF) is a Processor-in-Box supplied without a cooler (WOF).

Compatibility & notes
Fit this CPU to AM5 motherboards with supported chipsets (B650, X670, X670E, etc.). Because the boxed WOF variant does not include a cooler, you must supply a compatible AM5 cooling solution; AMD recommends a capable air or liquid cooler for optimal sustained performance. Launch date: 4 June 2023.
