Overview

The GIGABYTE B550M‑DS3H R2 is a compact micro‑ATX motherboard for AMD Socket AM4, designed for builders who want PCIe 4.0 capability in a small form factor. It supports AMD Ryzen™ 5000 / 4000 / 3000 series processors and uses a 5+3 digital VRM design with VRM Thermal Armor for stable power delivery.

Storage & expansion

The board provides two M.2 connectors (one PCIe 4.0 x4, one PCIe 3.0), plus four SATA 6 Gb/s ports. Expansion includes a PCIe 4.0 x16 graphics slot (PCIe UD Slot) plus a secondary PCIe 3.0 x16 (running x4) and a PCIe 3.0 x1 slot, giving flexible options for GPUs, NVMe storage and add‑in cards.
