The J5CREATE JCA465 is an 8K USB‑C to dual HDMI display adapter that lets compatible laptops, tablets and Thunderbolt/USB4 hosts connect to two HDMI displays. It is aimed at users who need high‑resolution external screens — gamers, content creators and professionals — and supports either a single 8K display or two 4K displays depending on the host GPU and DisplayPort capabilities.

Compatibility & notes

• Requires a host USB‑C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. Without DP Alt Mode the adapter will not output video.
• DSC (Display Stream Compression) is required on the host GPU to reach single 8K@60 or some 4K high‑refresh modes; DSC is available on modern GPUs (for example NVIDIA GeForce RTX 20 series / AMD Radeon RX 6000 series and later) as noted by the manufacturer.
• macOS does not support MST; monitors connected to the JCA465 will mirror rather than act as independent displays on macOS.
