Using Samsung V‑NAND TLC, an in‑house controller and an LPDDR4X cache, the 4TB model is specified for very high sequential and sustained performance while offering enterprise‑grade endurance and modern security features.

Samsung offers both standard and heatsink variants (model codes differ) — high sustained workloads can generate heat, so consider a heatsink or adequate M.2 cooling for sustained heavy use.
